Important typo in The First Memory

One of my betatesters has spotted an unfortunate typo that I missed on my own playthroughs (probably because I used the map in the World Index): In the Large Room in the abandoned house, the exit is in fact southeast, not south. Obviously, this will be fixed in the final release, but for now you'll just have to keep it in mind.

The First Memory Walkthrough

Obviously, this walkthrough contains spoilers. Be ye warned.

Get the seashell at the beach.
Open the mirror in the dillapidated bathroom, and grab the flashlight.
Go down from the garage to the storage room with the flashlight, and give the seashell to Jullianne.
Search through the paper in the library.
Search through the bedframe in the downstairs bedroom.
Unlock the iron gate in the backyard.
Kill or run past the cave leapers in the cave until you trigger the cut scene and get taken back to the large room.
Ask Jullianne about cave.
Ask Richard about sparring.
Go back through the forest and to the old farmhouse.
Spar with Richard.
Ask Jullianne about healing.
Ask Jullianne about falls.
Head north to the falls.
Riposte the cave monster until you run out of energy.
Attack the cave monster until it dies.
Ask Jullianne about memory.

The First Memory Released

The First Memory has been released for beta today.

"You aren't supposed to be on this island. Your parents always told
you stories about a monster that lived on this island that liked to
eat people, especially small children. But your friend Jullianne has
discovered some old abandoned house out here (it's anyone's guess as
to why she was poking around the island in the first place) and asked
you to meet her there, and Richard's already headed off into the woods
to find her. You're certainly not going to let yourself be let
behind. Richard would never let you hear the end of it, for one
thing."

The game features a few very simple (but potentially frustrating)
puzzles in which you must locate certain items or talk to certain
people, as well as a grand total of three different battles with a
system that varies only slightly from Lanista 2, with the addition of
the riposte ability, which is introduced in the second battle and
becomes critical to survival in the third. What I'd like to know is
how difficult the puzzles are, what things you tried to examine that
you couldn't, what things actions you attempted that failed, and what
you tried to talk to people about but couldn't.
